The landing at Bear Glacier is at an incredible beach with icebergs that wash onshore. This landing is routinely voted a “must do” by our staff. It’s a great location for photos, serenity, and to experience Alaska’s backcountry.

Length
This excursion lasts approximately 45 minutes but we ask you to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled departure. We advise blocking off approximately 1 hour for this tour.
More time may be arranged in advance for an added fee.
Price
$479 per person. Children under 24 months are complimentary but must ride on the lap of an adult. Price excludes a 1.6% online booking fee, capped at $20 per reservation.
Gear We Provide
We provide rain jackets if needed but advise packing your own for your trip to Alaska. If you have your own raincoat, we ask that you bring it.
What to Wear
Please wear sunglasses and dress in layers. We advise wearing a t-shirt followed by layers. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory for optimal experience, especially if choosing to do a landing.
Booking Tips
If you are uncertain of whether or not to choose a landing or extended flight time, then we suggest choosing “Pilot’s Choice.”
Weather Policy
If we cannot fly, there is a full refund. If you have the time, we will work to reschedule your tour. This tour is more weather dependent than some of our other scenic flights as we fly into a mountainous valley.
Weight Policy
We cannot fly passengers over 300lbs due to FAA regulations.
Due to the weight and balance of the helicopter, a combined weight limit of all passengers cannot exceed 560lbs for 45 minutes of flight time. For 30 minutes of flight time with a landing the combined weight limit is 585lbs.
All passengers are weighed at check-in.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that all cancellations be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
