Departure Times
Departure to Bear Glacier varies between 4 pm and 6 pm. Generally, pick-up is between 4 and 6 p.m. the following day, allowing a full 24-hour experience.
Customizations to your schedule are welcome to add-on other elopement excursions like heli tours & landings, dogsledding, and more.
Length
This is an overnight excursion that features staying at our remote yurts. All food is included as well as guided hiking.
Scenic Flight
Private round-trip helicopter flight from Seward to your stay at Bear Glacier lagoon. Enjoy the most stunning “taxi” ride ever with fly-bys of icefields, mountain ridge lines, and waterfalls on the way.
Overnight Accommodations
24-hour stay in a cozy, private yurt set above the glacier lagoon.
Our two backcountry yurts are 16′ in diameter; each has a comfortable queen-sized bed and heaters. This is an “off-grid” glamorous camping or “glamping” experience. Drinking water & basic use are provided, and while we don’t have running water or showers, the onsite outhouse is fantastic!
On-Site Excursions
Hiking and glacier lagoon kayaking are included. Guided by our onsite backcountry staff member who stays in a separate cabin onsite, you’ll get insights & support from someone intimately connected to this amazing .
Meals
